Developmental Home Providers in Arizona

The Newman Center based in Queen Creek, Arizona, provides foster care for adults and children with special needs in loving homes. Our organization will provide on-going support to individuals who open their homes.

Adult Developmental Home

Open up your heart and home by becoming an adult developmental home provider for adults with special needs who cannot live with their own families. Individuals requiring care are placed by the Arizona Department of Economic Securities Division of Developmental Disabilities.

Make a Difference

Adults placed in Division of Development Disabilities (DDD) care require long-term care at their new home. Each home for adults with disabilities may provide support for up to three adults. This program is set for people aged 18 years and older, who have been diagnosed with any of these developmental disabilities:

 Cognitive Disabilities

Autism

Epilepsy

Cerebral Palsy

Child Developmental Home

Make a difference in a child's life by opening your home to a child with disabilities. Special-needs foster care will provide a home to children who are unable to live with their families. These children are placed in homes by the Arizona Department of Economic Securities division of Developmental Disabilities.

Children placed in homes may require long-term or temporary care. For many of the children placed in developmental homes, the case plan usually reunification with their family or adoption. Children are from age 0–18 years and have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including, but not limited to:

 Cognitive Disabilities

Autism
